On the final Friday morning each of month, David meets with a group of entrepreneurial clients on the third floor of the Regus Building, overlooking the apron at Manchester Airport. The inspirational view, the smell of fresh coffee and the motivation to learn from one another is all the fuel that we need for the morning ahead; a morning that will see us openly and honestly throwing our ideas around the table. What do the others think? Will it work? Has anyone else tried it and, if so, what was their experience? There is no formal structure to the meetings; in fact, it is this organic approach that keeps the conversation fluid and the mood relaxed. Every meeting is different and we never know where the morning is going to take us. But that's how we like it!

By listening to what has worked for others in their business sector, each client can re-shape those winning strategies and adapt them to suit their own business. The Business Brainstorming Club is a wonderful example of synergy in action, where 'the whole is greater than the sum of the parts'. By giving up a little of their own personal knowledge and experience by sharing it with others, each Club member is able to gain so much more.

On a final note, it can sometimes be little short of lonely being a small business owner without the support of a full Board of Directors for support and counsel. And it can be de-motivating working with employees who do not always share your passion for business and your appetite for enterprise. The Club meeting is a forum which breaks that isolation; a community of like-minded business people who motivate and inspire each other.
