Services

We pride ourselves on offering not only the standard compliance services that you would expect from any firm of Chartered Accountants, but in addition a comprehensive programme of value added products and services that can generate incredible results for you and your business.
You might think that it doesn't matter which firm you use. You would be very wrong. We are constantly baffled by the apparent lack of thought on the part of other firms of accountants that has gone into advising individuals and businesses that we meet. More often than not, we are able to save new clients considerable amounts as a result of implementing the changes that we suggest. Too many firms appear to simply go through the motions of preparing accounts and tax returns, without really advising the client and generating ideas. That is how we are different, and why coming to see David is important. We really will make a difference.
We believe that your accountant should be an all-round adviser, helping you improve the performance of your business. It's not how much tax you pay that determines your wealth - it's how much you're left with after you have paid that tax! Any successful business needs a great team of professionals around it - to advise, where appropriate, and to act as a sounding board for new ideas. David can get involved in your business as little or as much as you like - it's your call, and our fees will reflect, to a great extent, how much involvement you want. If it's a simple, basic service that you want, then we can deliver. But if you're looking to utilise all of David's talents to the maximum, you might even want to consider using him in a non-execituve director role.
Smaller businesses, in particular, often suffer relative to their larger competitors from what we call (and please don't take this the wrong way) "management information ignorance". Why the dramatic name? Well, we're trying to make a really serious point. If you ask most small business owners how much profit their business has generated this month, or what the gross profit percentage of their most profitable and least profitable products or services are, they simply don't know. By what percentage have their overheads changed compared with the previous month? What level of sales do they need to achieve next month to 'break even'? The list goes on, and still most owner managers don't have the answers. This is no way to run a successful business! Information is king; it's the catalyst for making the right business decisions. Have a look at our IfDM (Information for Decision Making) page and see what we can offer.
